Playa Montroig Camping Resort wins 'Best Campsite in Spain' at the ACSI Awards 2023

The campsite specialist Auto Camper Service International presented the ACSI 2023 Best of Spain award to the Catalan campsite, adding yet another accolade to its long list of awards.

Playa Montroig Camping Resort has won the ACSI Award for Best Campsite in Spain thanks to the votes of the campers themselves, which certify that the resort on the Costa Dorada is one of the best European accommodations to enjoy a family holiday in a luxurious environment.

This award-winning campsite, which now adds a new outstanding recognition to its list of accolades, is a luxury establishment on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and, thanks to its services, is the ideal place to enjoy a family holiday in an atmosphere of the utmost excellence. Playa Montroig Camping Resort has a wide range of activities for children, aimed at discovering and interacting with nature and the landscaped surroundings. 

There are a multitude of leisure facilities, children's playgrounds, a set of shallow pools with interactive games and slides or sports tournaments for them to enjoy their holidays to the full. In addition, in the area of entertainment, there are activities which encourage family time, such as gymkhanas, mini-disco or professional open-air shows. 

ACSI is a Dutch company whose aim is to bring together in one place the largest range of campsites and information on campsites in Europe. These camp sites are checked annually by inspectors to ensure that they continue to meet the requirements to be part of this platform. ACSI does not rate camp sites in any way, but only provides objective information and quality standards. Only camp sites can be judged by the campers themselves.

The ACSI Awards are divided into eight categories: most fun camp site for children, most dog-friendly camp site, most beautiful camp site swimming pool, camp site with the best location, most sporty camp site, best camp site restaurant, best camp site for motorhomes and camp site with the best sanitary facilities. In 2022 ACSI presented the ACSI Awards for the first time with a total of 50,000 votes and both camp sites and campers responded enthusiastically to the initiative.
